Privacy policy

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Marrier is a wedding planner that works entirely on your phone. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it, and what this website does.

The short version

Marrier does not collect, upload, sell or share any of your information. There is no account, no server, no advertising and no analytics. The app has no permission to use the internet. Everything you enter stays on your phone until you yourself choose to share or export it.

What you put into the app

Your wedding plans, guest list, budget, notes, photos and everything else you enter are stored only in the app's own storage on your phone. The developer never receives a copy and cannot see it.

If you uninstall Marrier or use "Start over", this information is deleted from your phone. Marrier does not use Android's automatic cloud backup, so it is not copied to your Google account either.

Contacts

If you choose to add guests from your contacts, Marrier asks Android for permission to read them. It reads them on your phone only, to show you the list, and saves only the names and numbers you pick as guests. Nothing from your contacts is sent anywhere. You can refuse or withdraw this permission at any time in your phone's settings; the rest of the app works without it.

Photos

Photos you add (for example of the two of you, a venue or a dress) are copied into the app's own storage on your phone. They are not uploaded.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your phone by the app itself. No notification service or server is involved.

When information leaves your phone

Only when you decide it should, and only to the place you choose:

  • Backups and exports. When you make a backup or export a PDF or CSV file, Android's share sheet lets you choose where it goes, for example your files, e-mail or a messaging app. That app's own privacy policy then applies.
  • Messages and calls. When you tap to message a guest on WhatsApp or by SMS, call a number or open an address in maps, Marrier hands that one action to the app you use for it.
  • E-mail to support. If you write to us from the app, it opens your e-mail app with the message; nothing is sent unless you send it there.
  • Rating the app. Opens Marrier's page in the Google Play Store.

Buying the app

Marrier is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy; the developer never receives your payment details.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. The choices you make on it (light or dark, a look or a palette) are kept in your own browser only. The hosting service that delivers the pages keeps standard access logs, such as the address a request came from and the time, to keep the service running and secure.

Children

Marrier is meant for adults planning a wedding. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
